(Mac Chrome users only – please note that the current version of Chrome has a bug that prevents scrolling through the options.

This has been fixed by Google, but it will be a few weeks before they release a new version of Chrome with the fix).

(Access the search from the ‘Add widgets’ button at the top of your Protopage).

Our new search box will do the work of searching the web and finding relevant news feed widgets for you. We’ve had a few people contact us in the last few days about problems accessing their Protopage only from work or school computers (but not from their home connection). It appears that some of you may have an IT department that uses a ‘Palo Alto Networks’ web filter which is incorrectly classifying Protopage as a site that should be blocked. They give you the ‘full feed’, which means that instead of only seeing each user’s popular tweets (as the official Twitter app often does), you’ll see every single tweet from each user so you’ll never miss anything important. We’ve added a new toolbar button to make it easy to mark all news feed widgets on your page as “read”.
